John Johnson Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 21, 2025.
John Eric Johnson Jr
February 18, 1977- August 19, 2025
of Belleview, FL
passed away at 48 years old
John was preceded in death by his Mother Sharon Ann West, Stepfather Cecil Dean West, Father John Eric Johnson Sr, and Brother Jim Coan.
He is survived by his loving wife Jenny Johnson, Five children: Dimitri (wife Riley), Jacob, Jonathan, Daniel, and Anthony who he loved as his own.
John was a warrior who battled many Healthcare battles, never giving up, to stay with the people that he loved the most. His family. He loved going fishing with his boys and was proud of every single one of them. Loved family trips to anywhere! As long as he was spending time with the people he loved, John was happy. He loved making people smile and he loved to cook his famous "Johnburgers" on the grill for his family and friends. Oh, and he loved the Steelers, no matter how badly they played sometimes. Even more than all of that, John loved God with all of his heart. In this final battle, John often said that he was not afraid to die because he knew where he was going and that brought him peace. He also knew that those words would bring us peace that we will see him again someday. One saying that John liked was "look back and thank God look forward and trust God". I believe that that is what John would want us all to do now. He loved every one of us so much that he wanted to stay but God called him home and he will wait for us there now.
A memorial service for John will be held at Everyday Church in Belleview Florida on September 20th 2025. Immediate family will visit from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. and all family and friends welcome at 6:00 p.m.
