John Jones Obituary
John Paul Jones, 76, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at McWhorter Hospice House in Monroe.
John was born July 4, 1947, in South Carolina to the late John Bishop Jones and the late Margaret Marie Jones.
He was also preceded in death by son Steven Delane Helms and grandson Derick Lynn Poplin.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, July 8, 2024, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 11:00 am at Dunn's Grove Baptist Church in Albemarle, officiated by Pastor Jeremy Holt . Burial will follow at the Norview Gardens, 949 Pee Dee Avenue, Norwood, NC 28128.
Survivors include wife, Annette Jones of Albemarle; sons, Danny Helms (Angie) of Texas and Brian Helms (Tammy) of Albemarle, NC; grandchildren, Kristy Helms Lee of South Carolina, Megan Helms of Albemarle, Miranda Cox and Morgan Cox of Albemarle, Schyler Sharp of Fl, Samuel Helms of Albemarle, Cordell Helms of Texas, Tyler and Savannah of Albemarle; also 12 great grandchildren Jacob, Rylan, Noah, Sawyer, Daylan, Jaxsan, Daniel, Kamden, Addison, Brittley, Autumn, Davian; and a sister, Phyllis Bolyard, of WV.
