Harry Dee Foster, 87, of Oakboro, passed away Monday, February 23, 2026 at V A Hospital - Salisbury, NC in Salisbury.
Foster was born December 2, 1938 in Georgia to the late Harry Dee Foster Sr. and the late Lillian Foster.
He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Emma Nell Foster.
He was a loving Husband , Father and grandfather. He enjoyed traveling and adored spending time with his family. Harry will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
The funeral service will be on Sunday at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Chip Alsobrooks. Burial will follow at the Smith Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery at 25711 Old School Road, Oakboro.
Survivors include son, James (Brooke) Foster of Oakboro, NC, step-daughters, Sherlene Turner of Oakboro, Jeannie Bowers of Oakboro, grandchildren, Matthew (Morgan) Foster, Brandon (Kristen) Foster, great-grandchildren, Elena Foster, Mason Foster, Holden Foster, Lane Foster, Tate Foster, Grant Mathis, Kade Mathis.
