Cheryl Ann Howard, age 68, passed away at home on Saturday, November 29th, 2025, 6 months after her beloved husband and hero, Joe.

Cheryl, daughter of Helen "Dean" Branch, was born on the 2nd of May,1957 in Fort Worth, Texas.

After attending Ponder High school, she married Charlie Joe Howard on February 10th, 1973. She completed nursing school and began her career, caring primarily for the elderly and disabled. After retiring, she continued caring for those around her, raising her 4 children and taking a very active interest in the care and upbringing of her 9 grandchildren. Nothing was more important to Cheryl than family, and she loved nothing more than laughing and spending every available moment with loved ones.

Always a creative and passionate person, Cheryl maintained a lifelong love of art and poetry, which she used particularly to express her deep spirituality and faith. She was a devout Christian and attended Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God for 33 years.

Cheryl Howard is preceded in death by her infant son, Charlie "Little Joe" Howard Jr., her sisters Loretta and Theresa, and her husband of 53 years, Charlie Joe Howard.

She is survived by her mother, Helen; her dear sister and brother, Pam and Cliff; her friends and in-laws Carol and Paul Webb; her four beloved children, Linda, Tammy, Desi and Latisha; Her many cherished grandchildren: 2 grandsons Andrew and Gabriel, 7 granddaughters Brianna, Brittney, Janessa, Rebecca, Destiny, Rachel, Tiffany, and great granddaughter, Vienna; and many more nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.

Her funeral will be presided over by long term Pastor and friend, Rev. Randy Snow, just days before his retirement from his position of head Pastor at Faith Tabernacle.

She is being laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, TX, alongside her husband, infant son and family.
