John Jusky Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Suchon Funeral Home and Cremation Services - Plymouth on Jan. 9, 2026.
John Jusky, age 83, of Plymouth, passed away on January 8, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan.
He was born in Plymouth, Wisconsin on June 8, 1942, son of Frank and Alma (Gerber) Jusky.
He attended St. John the Baptist Catholic School, graduated in 1960 from Plymouth High School, and attended University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. On August 28, 1965 he married Nancy Blick & together they had two daughters, eventually adding two sons-in-law and 4 grandchildren.
John served in the United States Army National Guard, Plymouth, 1964-1970. He was employed at Borden's until 1965 when he began his 35 yr career with the US Postal Service in Plymouth. After retirement he worked for Tomahawk Mfg. for 14 years.
John was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Plymouth where he was an usher & volunteered in the parish food stand at Road America. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited. As a member of the Plymouth Jaycees, he held several offices & led a Youth Gun Safety Class for several years.
John loved hunting and fishing and spent many happy hours on the water in his boat where he always proclaimed "There is more to fishing than just fishing!". Family vacations up north at Lake Holcombe were enjoyed for many years plus fishing trips with his buddies.
Taking family trips all over the United States began when the daughters got old enough to travel, and travel they did to every state except 2 and Canada from British Columbia all the way to Nova Scotia. John's favorite fishing partner was wife, Nancy, who outfished him more often than not.
John was gregarious & fun to be around, jokingly called the "Toast Master General" by the many people he entertained for 83 years of his life!
He is survived by: his spouse of 60 years, Nancy Jusky; daughters, Brenda (Michael) Karls and Sara (Tad) Geiger; and grandchildren: Quinn Geiger, Jarod Geiger, Courtenay Karls, and Mackenzie Karls.
He is further survived by his nieces: Marcia Sprenger (Dan) Oglan and Peggy Schuricht (Mike) Solonika; nephews, Randy (Lynn) Sprenger and Greg Sprenger; as well as many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Alma Jusky and his sister Sharon Jusky Sprenger.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Visitation will take place from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM with a prayer service to follow at 2:00 PM.
