John Kalin

John Kalin, of Acton, MA, passed away peacefully, on June 6, 2025. John was the dearest beloved husband of Margaret Kalin; and loving father of Michael and Brian Kalin. He was the cherished grandfather of Mercedes (Kalin) Cline, Michael Kalin, Jr. and Marissa Kalin. He was predeceased by six loving siblings and is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Born in Boston on August 8, 1934, son of the late Paul and Ana (Senukievicz) Kalinouskas, John treasured his family. John enjoyed his many happy years as a middle school social studies teacher and as director of the middle school theater arts program for the town of Framingham.
Family and friends are invited to John's funeral Mass at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 89 Arlington Street, Acton, on Monday, June 16, at 10:00 AM and to a reception following the Mass at the Concord Colonial Inn, Concord, MA, at 11:30 AM. Burial will held Tuesday, June 17 at the at the Shawsheen Cemetery, Bedford, MA. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Disease Association.
