Lorri Langin Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Acton Funeral Home on Feb. 4, 2026.
Lorri Anne (Cuffaro) Langin, of Acton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, at the age of 68. Born April 26, 1957, in San Jose, CA, she was the daughter of Joseph Cuffaro and Margaret (Russell) Cuffaro.

Lorri attended San Jose High School and later San Jose State University, where she became the first in her family to graduate college in 1980. College put her on a path to a successful sales career in Silicon Valley. Most important were the friends she made along the way; true and trusted all the days of her life. She maintained friendships with several from elementary school, high school, and especially those dear friends and roommates from her years at SJSU.

Her life revolved around her career until the age of 35, when she met her husband Richard. While her career brought many opportunities into her life, it was her marriage and children that brought her the greatest love and joy. Her marriage also brought her to Massachusetts, where her favorite season was spring. To her, it was the rebirth of life, a return to color, and baseball! As a New England transplant, her heart always remained with her favorite Bay Area teams. She often expressed how she lived the 'high life' seeing Joe Montana (the greatest QB ever) play the game as a season ticket holder to the 49ers – and who could argue. She also made it known her love of the SF Giants and national league baseball – 'real baseball' as she would often claim.

She was lucky to be the stay-at-home mom she always dreamed; caring for her girls

and husband brought joy to each day. Once her girls were school-bound, she volunteered with the Emerson Hospital Auxiliary for many years. She made sure to be there for as many dance classes, swim meets, summer camps, music lessons, field hockey practice and games, softball practices, games and weekend tournaments as possible. Despite her busy schedule, she found time nearly every night to cook dinner and bake for her family. She was a notoriously good cook and host - something she inherited from her large, food-loving Italian family back in California. It brought her much joy and pride being a mother to Madelyn and Claire.

She was predeceased by her parents and her Aunt Arleen (Cuffaro) Austin. Lorri is survived by her husband, Richard; her two children: Madelyn Rose and her fiancé, Brian Pollack, and Claire Louise; her three brothers: Randy Cuffaro of San Leandro, CA, Steve Cuffaro of King City, OR, and Chris Cuffaro of Los Angeles, CA; cousins Phyllis Gasperini and her husband, Paul, of Old Lyme, CT, and Bruce Pitcock and his wife, Sarah, of Wexford, Ireland; and nephew Spencer Cuffaro and his wife, Shannon, of Donald, OR.

Lorri's life will be celebrated at Acton Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 10th, from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 11th, at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish. Kindly meet directly at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lorri's memory can be made to Care Dimensions Hospice House of Lincoln or to the Friends of Emerson Health

So sorry for your loss. Lori was one of my first friends in my freshman year of high school we had such a wonderful first year together. Great memories. Her mom, dad, and brothers were wonderful. Although we lost touch over the years I´m so happy to read that she had a wonderful husband and family.
