John Peter Kallman, Sr.

With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of John Peter Kallman Sr., who peacefully passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on January 26, 1947, in Duluth, MN, John dedicated his life to both his family and country, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by those who knew him.

John was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served with distinction during the Vietnam War, working diligently to fix fighter jets for his country. His impressive career continued as he took on fascinating roles, including work with nuclear weapons at the Nevada Test Site in the early 1970s and advancing space and missile technologies at the Phillips Laboratory at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM. John exemplified not just technical expertise, but a deep commitment to his work, which he approached with passion and dedication.

His greatest joy, however, came from his family. John was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Donna, with whom he shared nearly 54 wonderful years of marriage. He was a proud father to his sons; John Kallman II, the late David Kallman and Chris Kallman, instilling in them the same sense of duty, love, and care that defined his life. John's family will carry forward his spirit, cherishing the memories and values he imparted.

In our hearts, John will live on forever, a shining example of love, dedication, and the importance of family and service. His enduring spirit will inspire us all to honor his legacy.
