John H "Jack Kasper" Kasprzak

1935 - 2025

Kasprzak John H., "Jack Kasper" Of Lumberton, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mount Holly, surrounded by his family. He was 89. Born in Philadelphia, John served honorably in the US Army as a truck driver during the Berlin Crisis. He joined his brothers' business "Kasper Brothers" in 1951. John moved to Lumberton in 1979, where his passion for farming began with mini-farm and house. For many years they had cows, goats and their beloved pony, Silver. Until just this past year, John would be seen by many passersby on his beloved John Deere. John retired when the family business was sold in 1997. He cherished family time and quality time together, especially in Ocean City. John was also a longtime member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Hainesport. John is predeceased by his father, Francis Kasprzak and mother, Tessie Ostrowski. John is survived by his wife of 60 years, LoVerne; son Christopher and daughter and son-in-law Rebecca and Charlie Shemeley, all of Lumberton. He was the father of the late baby Joseph. John is also survived by his grandchildren Johnathan Town and Emmie Town, and his brother Michael and sister Maryann Kasper. He was brother to the late Richard and Francis and late sister Charlotte Mitnick. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday, March 8th at 11:30 A.M. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Marne Highway, Hainesport. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 A.M. – 11:30 A.M. at the Church. Entombment will follow in Park View Cemetery at Kirby's Mill in Medford.
