In 1973 I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Kemper as his secretary at Scott & Fetzer/The Kirby Co. He was truly a great boss and kind to everyone. When I left to move to Zaire, he was responsible for sending me off with a party which had not been done before. I never forgot it and he remained as a great memory in my life although our paths never crossed again. My condolences on his passing. I am happy to have known and worked for him for those 2 years early in our lives. RIP Mr. Kemper.

Betty,
My mom was a resident at Kemper House. That is how I met John. He had a presence of a business man. He would be jotting down notes as he toured the hallways. He had a smile that would make you gravitate toward him. I am so grateful to have been a part of the KEMPER FAMILY. My heart goes out to all of your family and friends that loved him. May our Lord protect and heal you as you mourn.
