Dear family of Jack,
I don´t even know if you will see this as I only just heard of your Dad´s passing almost a year later. I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to you. Your father was a WONDERFUL man and I´m sure you will miss his jovial personality, cute jokes and burly laugh. I know I have since I last saw him a few years ago.
Your Dad worked for our company, Drummond Transportation for many years. He was by far one of our best employees!!! I always joked with him I needed to clone him. He was reliable, conscientious, always on time, and someone I could call last minute for help with an unexpected issue. He was kind and caring with the kids he drove but didn´t take any gruff from them. He wouldn´t say anything to them but would let me handle it as I requested. We would have had him work forever for us if we hadn´t retired the company. We were a small family run company so my father (Hugh Drummond) and I knew him well as we liked to really know and be close to our employees. It was NEVER a bother when he stopped in the office. He always had something to say to put a smile on my face. And he even brought Rita in to meet me and she worked for us until she became sick. LOVED her as well. She and her husband Frank ALWAYS made me laugh. You had an extraordinary family and I just wanted you to know how much it meant to me that I got to know them.
Again my sincere condolences to all of you.
Kindest regards,
Kathy White (Drummond Office Manager)
