William F. "Bill Bibba" Joyce

William "Bill" "Bibba" F. Joyce, age 62, of Quincy, formerly of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 9th, at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth Surrounded by his family.
He was the loving father of Stephanie Witham and her husband Patrick of Norfolk, Nicole Joyce and her husband Angel Joseph of Rockland, Marissa Joyce and her significant other Ricky Logan of Braintree, and the late Kimberly and Karolyn Joyce. Cherished grandfather of Aiden, Abigail, Alyssa, Alivia, Raelynn, and Brayden. Beloved brother of John Joyce and his wife Kelley of Plymouth.
Bill is also survived by the mother of his children, Lisa Joyce, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and his loyal four-legged friend, Rip.
Born in Boston on October 30, 1962, he was the son of the late William and June (Crossman) Joyce. Bill grew up in Quincy and was a graduate of Quincy Vocational Technical High School. At the age of 18, he began his career as a breakfast cook, working in numerous restaurants before fulfilling a lifelong dream-opening his own establishment, Bill Joyce's Family Restaurant.
Bill had a deep love for Manomet and White Horse Beach, where he raised his family and formed lifelong friendships. A passionate New England sports fan, he never missed a chance to cheer on his Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, and especially the Bruins. He also enjoyed golfing and was a proud member of the John Alden Sportsman's Club for many years. Bill was the life of the party always telling stories, cracking jokes and making people laugh.
Above all, Bill's heart belonged to his grandchildren. They were the center of his world, and he treasured every moment spent with them-always known for slipping them an envelope with a little cash and a big smile.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A visitation will be held at the Cartmell Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd. Plymouth (MANOMET), on Thursday, July 17th, from 4:00 pm till 7:00 pm. Followed by a service in the funeral home at 7:00 pm.
