I met John in 1980 at the Foggy Mountain Country Club (Fulton Montgomery Community College). We stayed friends for our lifetime. Along with our other friend Tom Cook we went on to SUNY Tech in Utica and were college roommates from 1982-1984. We used every holiday as an excuse for a keg & punch party. They were some of our more memorable adventures, but I also climbed Mount Marcy with John and considered him a great friend who could always be counted on.

I know I'm a better person from having him as a friend. God bless you, you left us too soon.
