John is survived by his children, Jessica LaDeaux, and John LaDeaux, Jr.(Candace McCook); mother(aunt), Florence Janis; grandchildren, Skyla LaDeaux and Kendall LaDeaux; brothers, Hobart Yankton, Sam LaDeaux, Jr., Steve LaDeaux, James (Becki Cedar Face) LaDeaux, Loren (Sheila) LaDeaux, Mervin LaDeaux, and Mike (Theresa Jones) Red Cloud; sisters, Janese "Sis" Mousseaux, RoseAnne LaDeaux, and Colleen Steele; aunts & uncles, David & Kathy Janis, Frank & Margie Murdock, Roberta Ecoffey, Mary Ellen Red Shirt, Robert Ecoffey, Joe Bat Richard, Michelle "Micki" Richard, and Mary Tyon Jacobs.
John was preceded in death by his daughter, Johnnie Rae LaDeaux; mother, Lucy Janis; father, Samuel LaDeaux, Sr.; brother, Mike "Tank" Yankton; cousin, Louis Young; and grandparents, Alfreda Richard, Dave Janis, and Eugene & Bessie LaDeaux.
