Ronald Anthony Quick Bear was born on August 7, 1959 in Rosebud, SD to Algenia Brown and John Quick Bear. Ronald made his journey to the Spirit World on November 4, 2025 in Sioux Falls, SD.
Ronald Anthony (Tony Doyle) Quick Bear born August 7, 1959 in Rosebud, SD to John Quick Bear and Algenia Brown. "Tony" grew up in the Rapid City Area. He attended school in Rapid City and the Douglas Schools, where he finished the 10th Grade. While at Douglas High School he was active in sports. He played basketball, football, he did Track and Field and participated in the High Jump. He also attended the Crazy Horse School in Wanblee, SD where he completed the 11th grade. He went on and attended the AIM Survival School in Rapid City in 1976. This is where he met the love of his life, Carlotta (Honey Bear) Quick Bear. They were married in July of 1986 and in this union they had 6 children; Anthony, Todd, Joe, Thisa, and Ronnie. They lived in Rapid City, then moved to New Town, ND.
Tony worked construction, and many other jobs throughout his life. He loved to fish, bead, work on cars, paint, make different traditional native regalia. He enjoyed powwows, he was a sundancer, he enjoyed visiting with all his kola's around the Rapid Creek and Memorial Park areas. He enjoyed playing basketball and softball with his brothers. He played in many tournaments with his brothers around the Pine Ridge and Rosebud areas. Tony enjoyed watching football and basketball. His favorite football team was the Pittsburg Steelers. Tony moved to Sioux Falls, SD in 2013 to live with his sisters Patty and Janice up until his passing. While in Sioux Falls, he enjoyed fishing with his Caca Shilo, he enjoyed family bbq's and being with his grandkids and cooking.
Tony is survived by his children, Anthony, Todd, and Ronnie of Fargo, ND, Joe of Bismarck, ND, and Thisa of Arizona; his brothers, Bobby of Rapid City, SD, Lester (June Bug) of Elkhart, IN; sisters, Janice of Sioux Falls, SD, Patty (Lonnie) of Sioux Falls; nieces, Shanice of Sioux Falls, Javon of Pittsburg, PA; nephews, Keith Jr and D'Marcus of Sioux Falls, Jerry of Rapid City; his best friend in the world wide world his grandson, Storm; his Caca Shilo Nina and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Tony is preceded in death by his mother Algenia Brown; father, John Quick Bear; step-dad, Floyd Usefulheart; his sisters, Linda Wells, Sharon Craddock, and Tina (Doyle) Robertson; brother, Don (Coke) Doyle; his wife, Carlotta (Honey Bear) Quick Bear; and numerous other aunts, uncles, grandparents, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Shilo, Storm, Dom, Jerry, Shanice, Keith, Jr. and Javon.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brown family of Rapid City, Brown family of Pine Ridge, Quick Bear family, Anna Mae (Babes) DuBray, Ollie DuBray, Sanford Dialysis Center, Sanford Hospice, Andrews Family, Long Soldier Family, Bald Eagle Family, and All Friends and Relatives.
Wake Services: One night wake starting at 12:00 PM, Thursday, November 13, 2025 at the Oyate Center at Lakota Homes in Rapid City, SD.

Funeral Services: 9:00 AM, Friday, November 14, 2025 at the Oyate Center at Lakota Homes in Rapid City, SD.
Burial Services: 10:30 AM, Friday, November 14, 2025 at the Mountain View Cemetery, Rapid City, SD
