JOHN A. LAMSON

LAMSON, John A. Of Amesbury, formerly Wilmington, passed away on November 10, 2025, after a sudden decline due to cancer, at the age of 71. John was born on August 3, 1954, in Bremerton, Washington, to Arthur and Joan Lamson (Miller). John graduated from Amesbury High School in 1973 and went on to complete courses at Northern Essex Community College, eventually earning a Bachelor in Computer Science from Northeastern University in 1992. John was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Marilyn, who died in 2017. John leaves behind his sister, Marcia, of Amesbury and her husband, Paul Blair; his three daughters, Elizabeth and her husband, Jeff Anderson, of Rowley, Caroline and her husband, Ricky Sims, of Rowley and Lauren Lamson of Worcester; as well as his cat, Larry. He will also be missed by his three grandchildren, Julian, Caleb and Layla Anderson; as well as a niece and nephew and many wonderful friends. In 2023, John moved to Lake Attitash, where he was raised and enjoyed spending time on the lake with friends, family and neighbors. He enjoyed annual fly fishing trips, skiing, hiking, camping, driving his motorcycle, taking the back roads, campfires, watching football and tinkering. Relatives and friends are invited to Calling Hours at Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, AMESBURY, MA 01913, on Saturday, November 22, from 11AM-1PM, followed immediately by a Memorial Service and Burial.
