John Kevin Leddon was born June 6, 1964, in Anaheim, California and passed away December 21, 2022, in Monroe, Louisiana. He was 58 years old.
John loved his family more than words could ever do justice and would go to the greatest lengths to show that love. He was always incredibly proud of their achievements, and so quick to congratulate them on any accomplishments. His wife was his greatest, endless love, and their story was full of treasured chapters. He was a faithful attendant and willfully served in the West Monroe Assembly choir. Many who knew him, would describe him as friendly and the kind of person who would truly do anything for anyone. He was always lending a helping hand or volunteering whether it be completing house projects with his wife or playing Big Bird in his annual church Christmas play. When John wasn’t lending a helping hand, in his free time, you could find him tinkering on house projects, restoring vehicles, watching sport highlights, pranking his wife and singing “oldies“. He loved the beach, quiet mornings, country living & playing with his grandson, Noah. He eagerly looked forward to his annual family vacation, where his wife’s family, brother and sisters, plus their families, would gather for a week at the beach and make new memories. John was a 1982 graduate from Geneva High School in Geneva, Alabama and a 20+ year proud United States Air Force and reserve veteran. Fourth of July was one of his favorite holidays and a complete event for him. He volunteered at the veterans home a couple of times a year and loved delivering Christmas presents to them. He was an astounding man, who is leaving an impossible footprint to replicate, loved by all who knew him, who will be missed dearly. The end of his chapters here, leave an enormous hole to fill, but we are grateful for the hope we hold onto of being reunited, one day in Heaven.
