John William Lee, age 77, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025. He was born in Muskegon on May 23, 1948, to John and Mary Ellen Lee. John is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kathleen; 3 children, Michael "Mike" Lee of Muskegon, Albert "AJ" (Christy) Lee of Fremont and Danielle Freriks of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren, Brent, Jacob, Rebecca, Colt and Joseph; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Sherlyn (George) Horn of Montague and Maureen (Dennis) Edwards of Muskegon; brother, Stephen (Donna) Lee of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
John was the owner and operator of Lee Drywall. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to casinos. He was also skilled at creating stained glass items.
According to John's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at a future date. Memorial contributions can be made to Harbor Hospice.
