John was born on March 27th, 1959 in Aurora, Illinois and is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Miriam Lehman. John is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Jeanine (nee Skooglund); three children and three children in-law Alyssa Quebbeman (Joe), Michael Lehman (Abbey), and Rachel Sbertoli (Joe); three sisters Judith Busse (Bob), Nancy Scott (Mark), and Carol Anderson-Lehman (Ron); 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. John was raised in Naperville, Illinois and lived there his entire life. John graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. John and Jeanine married on September 22nd, 1984 at Grace United Methodist Church in Naperville, Illinois. He started his career in sales and financing for CIT Group and worked at other organizations before finishing his corporate career with GE Capital. John had a strong entrepreneurial spirit and invested in several other private business ventures. After completing his corporate career, he took a more active role with his primary business interests at Minute Man Press in Naperville, Illinois and Blooming Color Commercial Digital Printing in Lombard, Illinois. John was first and foremost a family man as his greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren. Jeanine and John celebrated family and were proud to watch their family grow as they welcomed 7 grandchildren; Jack, Connor and Chloe Quebbeman; Melanie and Madison Lehman; and Nathan and Nicholas Sbertoli. He enjoyed spending summer at their lake home in Wisconsin creating long-lasting family memories. His drive, competitive spirit and courage brought him success in every aspect of his life and continued to step forward each day regardless of his health obstacles. He will be greatly missed.

John was such a fun loving person! From making me feel welcome at Eastern IL University when I was a new student, to nicknaming our town Hicksville, John was always joking around and good for a laugh. Peace and love to his beautiful family.
