John A. Leighton Jr.

On September 5, 2025, our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, John Leighton Jr., passed away peacefully. His presence, humor, and love will be deeply missed, yet the memories he leaves behind will be cherished forever.

John was the proud father of six children – Ryan, Kimmy, Joshua, Christopher, Matthew, and Sarah – and the devoted grandfather of his sweet granddaughter, River Rose. He is also survived by his sisters, Marykate, Barbara Leigh, Maureen, and Carolyn, along with many nieces and nephews who adored him. John was preceded in death by several loving family members, including his sister Anna, and has now been reunited with them.

Above all, John's greatest joy was his family. He carried each of them in his heart and leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength that will continue to live on through them.

In keeping with his wishes, no formal service will be held. Instead, his family invites all who knew him to honor John by remembering the moments shared, the lessons he taught, and the love that will never fade.
