John Lofthouse Obituary
23, lifelong resident of Canaryville, passed away unexpectedly February 5, 2026. Devoted son of Victoria Williams and the late John E. Lofthouse Sr., and step-son of Anthony Santiago; cherished brother of Anthony Santiago Jr., Amariah Sanitago, and Deanna Lofthouse; loving grandson of Lupe and Ray Williams and Liz Aguinaga and the late John Aguinaga; dearest nephew of Christina (Danny) Hernandez, Kimberly Williams, Janet (Steve) Kenmore, Anthony Aguinaga and Melissa Aguinaga; fun loving cousin of Elena Antunez, Isabel Hernandez, Anthony Williams, Ariana Lopez, Aubree Brann, and Annaliese Kennemore, Janet and Steve Kennemore, and Abby and Fabian Aguinaga; Also survived by his beloved girlfriend Erika Garcia; his treasured cat, named "Cat" and dog, Luna; and many fond great-aunts, great-uncles, great-cousins, and friends.
John was described as a homebody. He was known to many as a regular "gamer." He loved the interactive connection, competition, and social interaction it brought to him. His family described him as the family "jokester." He loved pulling pranks on people making people laugh.
Visitation on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 3-8 p.m. at McInerney Central Chapel, 4635 S. Wallace St., Chicago, IL 60609. Funeral Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow at St. Casimir Cemetery.
