John Lonicki Obituary
John D. Lonicki, 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Born in Meriden on March 15, 1949, he was the son of the late Casimer and Adele (Klija) Lonicki. John had resided in Meriden all his life and attended Meriden Public Schools.
John lived a quiet peaceful life. He was an avid Red Sox fan.
John is survived by his two brothers Charles Lonicki and Ronald Lonicki and his three nephews, Charles Lonicki Jr. and his wife Lori, Jeffrey Lonicki and his wife Jennifer and Brian Lonicki and his wife Lisa. He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Stephen Lonicki.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, January 12, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, CT 06540. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, 310 Ann St. Ext., Meriden. Should friends desire, contributions in his memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter at 10 Executive Drive, Farmington, CT 06032 or at https://www.alz.org/ct?form=FUNDHYMMBXU.
