John David Loux, 82, Seneca, MO passed away December 8, 2025 in rural Seneca after an illness.
John David Loux was born November 24, 1943 in Clarion, IA the son of Don and Margaret Loux. He had lived in Iowa until age 18 then he entered the United States Navy. He served as a Petty Officer 2nd class from December 31, 1964 to December 13, 1968. After serving in the Navy, J.D moved to California and then he moved to Colorado where he worked for St. Lukes Presbyterian Hospital in Denver, CO. Later he moved to Joplin. He then entered the Army National Guard serving in the 203rd, Joplin, MO as a Sergeant from August 30, 1978 to 1982. J.D. then moved to Rural Seneca. His hobbies was reading and listening to Country Music. He was a member of VFW in Denver, CO. He was a Christian and had faith in Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior.
Survivors include; his children, Dixie Kinnison and husband Steve, Seneca, Terrie Wayne, Joplin, David Loux, Wisconsin and Rick Moore and wife Robin, Temple, GA; sibling, Fay Ann Spencer and husband Mike, Jewell, IA; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family.
J.D. was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Raymond Loux and one grandson Joshua Hall and one son-in-law Gary Wayne.
The body has been taken for cremation under the personal direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
The family will hold a Memorial Service at a later date.
