John Keller Mack II, age 73, passed away on November 4, 2025. He was born on January 16, 1951, to the late Dr. David and Donna Mack. John is survived by the love of his life Carol (Marcellus); treasured sister Meri Ann Mack Davis; beloved nephews and nieces David, Miranda, Michael (Jennifer), Tammy (Steve), and Michelle; great-nephews and nieces Christopher, Matthew, Marcus, Mazie, Gage, Logan, Eli, Will. John is also survived by many cherished friends and his cat Duke.

John is preceded in death by his brother George Herbert Mack III and nephew Jeff (Laura) Marcellus.

John attended Penn State University where he earned his degree to become an Arborist and specialize in Turf-grass management. Taking a different route for his career, he proudly worked for over 27 years for Medina Excavating as a Heavy Equipment Operator. John was everyone's friend and spent his free time taking fishing trips to Lake Erie, attending pig roasts, and watching Sunday sports at Dan's Barn with his buddies. Most importantly he loved Carol dearly and his entire family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of John to the Medina SPCA, https://www.medinacountyspca.com/donate.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 12-2pm at Waite Funeral Home in Medina. The celebration will continue following the visitation at the Eagles in Medina. A private burial will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.waitefuneralhome.com.
