John Magee Obituary
He was born and raised in Wilmington and is the son of Karen J. Kennedy of Henderson, NC and John E. Magee, Sr. of Wilmington, DE.
John was a plumber by trade, working for himself and as a contractor. He loved to fish, cook up meals and smoke and BBQ his meats.
John's wife of two years, Jacquelyn R. Fitch of Bel Aire, MD passed away in August of 2025. Along with is parents Karen and John, he is survived by his three children, John E. III, Ethan W. and Roseleigh; and a brother Christopher of Wilmington.
A visitation will be held on Saturday December 27 from 10-11:30 am with a memorial service to follow at 11:30 am at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Hwy, Wilmington, DE. Burial will be private.

John struggled with addiction problems throughout most of his life. The bright spots of being with his beloved wife Jackie where not enough for him to overcome the grip of addictions, especially after her passing. He never came back.

Absolutely no words. May you forever walk with God and your family have peace. I'm sorry I won't be able to be there to see you off into the Lord's care, but know that one unknown day in time we will all walk together again.
