John Franklin Malone, 85, of Glen Burnie passed away on October 14, 2023. John was born on February 23, 1938 in Baltimore to the late George and Emma Malone. He retired from Ward Machinery after 38 years of service. He was a member and former usher at Glen Burnie United Methodist Church. John enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and was an avid Washington Capitals fan. He also had an infectious laugh that everyone loved and would recognize.
John is survived by beloved wife of 63 years, Mary Lou Malone; his brothers, Ralph, Herbert and Arlan Malone; his sister, Lillian Ford; his sister-in-law, Patricia Ditzel; and his nephews, Steven, Richard and David Ditzel.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thursday, Oct. 19th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Oct. 20th at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
