John Louis Maxwell was a native of Palatka, Florida, born Wednesday, February 15, 1967, to Lewis Maxwell Jr. and Sara Jane Graham. He was educated in the Putnam County School District. John acknowledged Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He fellowshipped with various churches in the community. He worked in agriculture for many years and enjoyed fishing. John was a devoted and loving father. He touched the lives and hearts of all who knew him.
John's greatest joy was spending time with his son and helping others. His love extended deep for all his family. He always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. He was the type of person that would enter a room filled with strangers and leave knowing everyone in the room.
John will be remembered for his boundless love, his strength, and his devotion to others. His warmth, kindness, and generous spirit left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
John L. Maxwell is preceded in eternal rest by Lewis Maxwell Jr. (Father), Eddrina Yaunle Maxwell (Sister), Edward and Fannie Mae Graham (Maternal Grandparents) Roberta and Lewis Maxwell Sr. (Paternal Grandparents).
To forever cherish the loving memories of John Louis Maxwell are: Son: Joshua Caleb Lewis Maxwell; Mother: Sarah Jane Graham; Sister: Towander (Marcus) Roberts; Aunts: Lula Gibbs-Johnson, Josephine (Bobby) Conyers, Georgia (Neiman) Griffin, Willie Maxwell, Florine Maxwell, Ida Mae Maxwell, Betty Maxwell Garrison, Rose Mary Maxwell, Lucille Maxwell and Doris Maxwell; Uncles: Eugene Maxwell, Sydney Maxwell and Henry Maxwell; Special Friend: Hilda Faye Mitchell; and a host of nieces, cousins and friends.
