John David McAnany, Sr., 81 years old of Westland, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in his home surrounded by family.
He was born November 7, 1937 in Washington, son of the late James and Louise Campbell McAnany.
He was a member of Westland Sportsmen's Club, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gambling.
He worked as a sandblaster and painter for World Wide Industries, of Butler.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Heinen McAnany of Westland, two sons, John David (Peggy) McAnany, Jr of Midway, and Robert McAnany of Westland, five daughters, Lori (David) Cass of Westland, Terri (Benny) Craig of Meadowlands, Tina Clemens of Cecil, Debbie (Ted) Ullom of Hickory, and Jackie (Scott) Fonner of Washington, 18 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
He was the last of his family, preceded in death by four sisters, Anna Mae Paris, Patricia Maceiko, Kathy Melone, and Diane Hinerman, two brothers, Don and Murph McAnany.
Private services were held at the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, PA with Pastor Gary Chorpenning, of Venice Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment was in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
