Mr. John Edward McCloud Sr.

Mr. John Edward McCloud, Sr., 58, passed away at 2:29 am on Friday, September 6, 2024 in Fort Wayne, IN.
John was born on March 2, 1966 in East St. Louis, IL to Larry and Brenda (McCloud) Jackson.
John excepted Christ at a very young age at Union Baptist Church in East St. Louis, IL and was Baptized at 8 years old. He sang in the choir and also played the Bongos. In his spare time, he Loved reading his Bible.
John was a licensed CDL Truck driver. He drove cement trucks for years. He last worked as a bus driver for the City of Charlotte, NC. He loved to drive and travel across the country. John liked watching football. He liked eating chips and popcorn with hot sauce. John always loved to smile and make others smile.
John leaves to cherish his precious memory five children that were born to he and Vanessa Motley; one son, John McCloud, Jr.; four daughters, Lanesha McCloud, Jalesha McCloud, Aleshia McCloud and Britni McCloud all of Peoria, IL; two sisters, Amanda Jackson of East St. Louis, IL and Jamee McCloud Haynes of Peoria, IL; 11 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his step father, Larry Jackson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
