John McColl Obituary
John McColl 78, of Wakefield, RI passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and good friend on Monday, December 1, 2025.
He was the husband of the late Jane Ann McColl. Born and raised in Wakefield, RI and was the son of the late Robert McColl and Esther (Vachon) McColl.
He enjoyed spending time with friends at the Elks, boating, and golfing. He was a commercial fisherman in the first half of his career and later a car salesman at Paul Bailey's for the past 20 years.
John is survived by his son John Babbitt and his wife Kathie (Andrew and Kasey grandchildren), son Shawn McColl (Caitlin, Emily and Mackenzie grandchildren)
Per John's request no funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to The South Kingstown Elks Lodge #1899, 60 Belmont Ave, Wakefield, RI 02879-3402.
