John William McCullough, 63, of Bedford, NH, passed away on February 27, 2025. Born in Manchester on July 8, 1961, he was a son of Leo McCullough and Jacklyn (Stips) Desfosses.
John grew up in Manchester and graduated from Trinity High School in 1979. He went on to earn his Bachelor's Degree from St. Anselm College in 1983. Early in his career, he worked in the IT industry before becoming the owner of Bird Bath Laundromat in Manchester. John had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, taking great pride in his gardening and landscaping. He loved fishing and golfing with his son, Connor, and treasured the memories made while camping with his family at the Birches Family Campground on Lake Cobbosseecontee in Maine. He also had a passion for classic cars and enjoyed taking family rides in his 1967 Chevy Camaro.
John is survived by his son, Connor McCullough of Long Beach, CA and formerly of Bedford, NH; his mother, Jacklyn Desfosses of Palm Springs, CA; and his wife of 25 years, Joan McCullough of Bedford, NH.
Services will be held on Friday, March 14th at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 5PM-6:30PM with a short Memorial Service at 6:30PM.
