John McFeeley Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Devlin Funeral Home - Cranberry Township on Oct. 3, 2025.
John Paul (Jack) McFeeley, Sr., passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025, at the age of 82. He was born on November 3, 1942, to the late Thomas and Blanche (Berry) McFeeley. Jack was the beloved husband of the late Barbara S. McFeeley, a loving father to Heather (Paul) Sieber and John Paul (Ashley) McFeeley, Jr., and a devoted grandfather to Rachel, Ava, Scarlett, and Macklan. He was the brother of the late Thomas (Ruth) McFeeley and is survived by his twin brother Robert (Carol) McFeeley and sister Maureen.

A proud graduate of Langley High School in 1961, Jack served as a combat veteran in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1964-1966. After his service, he utilized the G.I. Bill to earn an associate degree in Business Management from Duff's Business School. His career path led him into the computer world, where he held positions as an area and regional service manager for several companies, including General Instrument Corporation, Unitote/Regital, BancTec Service Corporation, and Bell Atlantic Business Systems.

Jack was proud of his West End Pittsburgh roots and was a loyal fan of the Steelers, Pirates, Penguins, and Pitt Panthers. He dedicated countless hours to his community, serving as a coach, referee, and commissioner for the Cranberry Township youth soccer association. He also coached t-ball, little league, and traveling Pony league baseball teams. His commitment to volunteering was evident in his two-year involvement with the Seneca Valley field house project, his many years serving Meals on Wheels, and his time teaching computer skills to fellow seniors with SeniorNet. He was a strong advocate for the VA Healthcare system, which he considered a five-star system.

Above all, Jack cherished his four grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
