Jim taught me how to split wood, change the oil in my car, gut a deer and smoke it.
He taught me how to shoot skeet as well as a 410. He taught me how to trout fish at our favorite spot at Tucker´s farm on Washington Valley Rd. He taught me how to ice fish on Mt. Hope pond where we would also ice skate. He taught me how to deep sea fish, crab and dock a boat. He taught me how to canoe, camp and hike.
Jim´s adventuresome self will always live on through me as well his silly jokes and laughter. He showed me what a true gentleman was. I am so grateful to have known him, but most importantly LOVE him

My memories of "Jimmy John" go back to the time he was born in 1956.
Living next door to the McGrady family for my first nine years remain in my mempory as a true "Once upon a time" part of my life. To have the "sisters" I never had living next door and a 'second' mother as well was truly wonderful
The memory of the Christmas Eve Jimmy John was born stands out in my mind after all of these years as a favorite memory-one I share every Christmas. I am sorry I did not share it at the memorial but I will share it here.
My love and condolences to all the family.
Love,
"Mamie" (Mary Walsh)

JIM is my friend for life, he was a kind , gentle, loyal friend to have. He was avid out door sportsman, that was good at anything he tried , and very talented craftsman. I am proud to call him my friend and will miss his jokes, and great point of view in life . There is a mass at Christ the king church on Dec 22 at 9am for his life friendship and pray for his eternal peace.

So sorry to hear of Jim´s passing. I have many wonderful memories in my teen years, with the Mcgrady family Maureen, Nancy, Sue and Karen and Jim and of course they´re wonderful parents. Margie and John. Hold onto the wonderful memories until you´ll be able to see your dear Jim, and loved ones again. Thanks for all the great memories. Barbara (Camisa) Schnepp
