John McKoski Obituary
Born in Akron to the late John and Mary McKoski. Also preceded in death by sister, Mary Ann Bower and brothers, David and Richard.
John worked 40 years at Fence World where he made countless friendships. On weekends, he escaped to the family cabin, a place he continued to enjoy in retirement, making memories with his family and friends. Later in life, he wintered in Miami with his Bunny, soaking in the sun and sea.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 47 years, Catherine (Russo); daughters, Theresa (Stephen) Wilgus, and Mary Kay (Michael) Cutlip; son, Joseph, brother, Martin (Nancy); and granddaughters, Gemma, Gianna, Juliette, and Maria.
Family and friends may gather from 1 to 4 on Saturday at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.) to share stories and memories of John. After the calling hours, please come and continue to share memories with the family at the home of Mike and Mary Kay Cutlip, 5-8 pm, 563 Delaware Ave, Akron, OH.

I enjoyed playing golf with John at our STVM alumni outings. John was always soft spoken and a joy to be around. We played baseball together in high school and he was an amazing athlete but was always humble. His loss will be painful for me. May he rest in peace. Cathy, you and your family are in our prayers.
