John Marshall McLean "Johnny Reb" 75, of St. Pauls, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at home.
Johnny Reb was born March 30, 1950 in Cumberland County, North Carolina, to the late Bill and Hilda McLean. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by; brother Buddy McLean, sister Brenda Wood, and nephew Michael Tanner.
He is survived by his son, Chad McLean, of St. Pauls; three daughters; Jeanette Case and husband Mike of Pendleton, Indiana; Candace Roberts and husband Terry of Hope Mills; and Lynn Ragan and husband David of Willow Springs; Five grandchildren; Cannon, Karson, Graclyn, Palyn and Chandler; sisters, Sharon Taylor and Cindy McLean; and brother Mike McLean; and several nieces and nephews
An outdoorsman at heart, Johnny Reb felt most at home under an open sky. Whether it was casting a line on a simple pond, or enjoying hot rod cars; he enjoyed them both to the fullest.
