John McLemore Obituary

John B. McLemore, 84, St Cloud, Florida, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024. Visitation will be held at Colbert Memorial Chapel on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral service will be at Colbert Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
John was preceded in death by his parents John and Iva McLemore, his wife of fifty years, Bruna McLemore, his brother, Harold McLemore, and his sister, Linda Adams. He leaves behind three sons, Keith (Tina), Tim (Lorena), James (Desiree), one grandson, Trenton, and four granddaughters, Kelsie, Natasha, Ariel, and Arianna as well as two brothers, Oneal and Larry McLemore.
John served twenty years in the U.S. Army performing aircraft maintenance and retired as a Staff Sergeant. He also served two tours in the Vietnam War. After retiring from the military, John served his community as an ordained minister. He loved the Lord, and he enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog, Alfie. He had a brilliant smile and sense of humor and will be forever missed.
Thank you to the hospice at the VA facility at Lake Nona in Orlando, Florida for their tireless efforts and care for our service men and women.
