Trish Embry

Patricia Huddleston "Trish" Embry, age 74, Birmingham, Alabama, formally of Florence, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 7, from injuries sustained in a series of recent falls.

Trish was born August 19, 1951, in Haleyville, Alabama, to Thurman Harold Huddleston (deceased) and Euphenia Foster Gilbert (deceased). She was married to Tom Embry for ten years (deceased). Trish was also preceded by in death by her son Nathan Bevis. She is survived by her son, Adam Bevis; stepson, Michael Embry; grandchildren Luke and Alah Bevis, and Warren Herston; brothers, Paul and Mark Huddleston; and stepfather, Jim Gilbert.

She worked for Pioneer Life Insurance Company helping individuals and families successfully plan for their financial future, but her real passion lay with her Cox Boulevard Church of Christ family where she regularly volunteered helping those in need and took part in many missionary door knocking campaigns spreading the gospel.

Those who knew her know that her faith was in God, a strong love and bond to her family, and her proud reliance on Miss Clairol.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 10 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Wade Hunt officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.

Pallbearers will be Luke Bevis, Kirk Herston, Warren Herston, Rodrigo Ferrada, Bo Gooch, and Brent Bulman. Nancy Van Wyk, Mary Savage, and Alah Bevis will serve as honorary pallbearers.
