John Walton McNee, 92, of Shenandoah, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Harrisonburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. McNee was born February 29, 1932, in Nyack, New York and was the son of the late John Alfred and Elizabeth Hillard McNee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Craig Allen McNee.
John retired from Merck in Elkton as a Chemical Operator, and attended Trinity Episcopal Church. He enjoyed flying his Cessna and riding motorcycles.
He is survived by two sons, Scott McNee and John K. McNee; three grandchildren, Megan, Jessica, and Jacklyn McNee, as well as four great-grandchildren.
The family will commemorate his life privately.
