John J McSorley " Jack" on May 6, 2025 of Mantua, formerly of Bellmawr and Naples, FL. Age 88.
Beloved husband of 66 years to the late Patricia (nee Meighan). Beloved father of Jack (Terri), Bob (Doreen), Michael (Lisa), Terry Schmeck (Steve), Tim (Carrie), Bernadette Arechavala (Eric) and Jim (Denine). Loving grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 14. Dear brother of Ann Marie Mulligan and Timothy McSorley and the late Claire Rafferty, Catherine Simpson and Joseph McSorley. Dear brother-in-law of Barbara Joan McGee, Kathleen Lynch, Betsy Ann Herron, and the late Mary Rodgers, Edward Meighan, Dorothy Hogan and Phyllis Meighan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
John was a former treasurer of Bellmawr Tigers, he served in the Army Reserves and was a carpenter with Local Union 8. John was a big Philadelphia Eagles fan.
There will be a viewing on May 12, 2025 Monday from 10am to 11:45am, Mass to follow 12noon at Church of Incarnation; 240 Main Street Mantua NJ 08051. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to, Church of the Incarnation 240 Main St, Mantua Township, NJ 08051
