John "Mike" Carl Michelletti Jr., 80, passed away on October 27, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi.
The family will celebrate his life privately at a later date.
Mike was born on September 7, 1945 in Waco, Texas to the late John Carl Michelletti, and Margarette King Michelletti Cook.
He was a cherished member of the Methodist Church of Paris, MS, where his faith and fellowship touched the lives of many.
Mike's love for life was evident in the simple pleasures he enjoyed. Saturdays were sacred, as he could always be found in his favorite recliner, cheering on any football game with great enthusiasm. His passion for the sport was matched only by the joy he found in spending time with his family and friends, creating memories that will be treasured by all who knew him.
Mike's legacy of service, faith, and love will continue in the hearts of those who survive him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of sharing in his life.
He is survived by his partner, Mary Ann Kitchens of Oxford, MS; his daughter, Melissa "Missy" Michelletti Moser (Kenny); his granddaughter, Megan Suttles; his three sisters, Marcia Sprouse, Susan Murphee, and Carol Clark; and his brother, Dewey Michelletti.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents, John Carl Michelletti Sr. and Margarette King Michelletti Cook, and his three brothers, Lester, Pete, and Jack Michelletti.
The family has asked that no flowers be sent, but rather make all donations and memorials to the Paris Cemetery Fund (24 CR 479 Paris, MS, 38949) or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://tinyurl.com/3zhr64wx).
