Paulette Langham Palmertree, 75, of Water Valley, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1 PM at Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford. The funeral service celebrating her life will take place immediately following the visitation, beginning at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Coleman Funeral Home.
Known for her steady spirit, kind heart, and unwavering work ethic, Paulette spent 35 years working at Walmart, where she faithfully provided for her family and formed many lasting friendships along the way.
With a love for life's simple joys, Paulette enjoyed reading a good book, sitting outside enjoying her flowers and nature, or chatting away with friends and family on the phone.
She enjoyed family game nights and spent many hours enjoying laughter and playful banter through the years with numerous friends and family. Her greatest happiness came from time spent with those she loved, often sharing a good meal and laughter, or playing with grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Paulette lived as a quiet example of Christian love and grace. Her strength, compassion, and gentle spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
She leaves behind three children to continue walking down the path of life in her absence: one son, Scott Palmertree (Rhonda) of Water Valley; two daughters: Christy Holland (Corey) of Tupelo; Heather Langham (Ashley) of Water Valley; five grandchildren: Elizabeth Palmertree, Blaine Langham, Cruz Langham, Raige Langham, and Memphys Langham all of Water Valley; two brothers: Jerry Langham of San Diego, California; and William "Wilbo" Langham of Oxford; two sisters: Norma Blanton of Oxford; and Patrcia Rushing of Oxford; followed by host of dearly loved extended family members and friends.
The loved ones who departed from this life before her include: her parents, James Haywood Langham and Pauline Nelson Langham; two brothers: Thomas Langham and Mike Langham; and two sisters: Jeanette Harris and Pamela Hatfield.
