John William Mills III, age 93, of McCaysville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at his home in McCaysville, GA. John was born December 9, 1930, in Houston, Texas to John and Faye Mills.
John was preceded in death by brother, Herschel Mills; father, John Mills; and mother, Faye Mills.
He is survived by his spouse, Mary Mills: Son, Joseph Mills; Daughter, Andrea Mills; and Sister, Jean Sheley.
Mr. Mills was a Minister for the United Methodist church in the Texas and Southern California districts.
Services will be at 2pm on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Copperhill United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held at the Copperhill United Methodist Church from 1pm until the 2pm memorial service hour.
