Larry is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Marie Minish, a sister Caroline, and brothers Bobby and Gerald.
Larry is survived by a son, Josh and daughters Heather and Dabney.
Larry was a lifelong educator and coach, teaching and coaching basketball first at Woodruff High School, then moving on to a Guidance Counselor role at Hillcrest High School while coaching Women's Basketball and Varsity football. Larry also was a retired Master Sergeant in the South Carolina National Guard.
A celebration of Larry's life will be held Saturday December 14, 2024 at 2:00 pm at his home on Lake Moultrie. 619 Halls Road Pineville, SC 29468.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory to Folds of Honor, an organization that provides educational scholarships to spouses and children of disabled or fallen veterans.

To Larry's family:
Bill & I send our heartfelt sympathies to you all and we hope your wonderful memories of Larry will help ease the pain his passing has caused. Larry was such a nice man and even though we only became close to him following Bobby's wife Jackie's passing, he became family to Bill & myself. He always treated us like extended family and our sons, Tim & Andy, still talk of meeting him at Jackie's funeral and what a nice man he was. Thinking of you all at this difficult time. We send our love to you all!
