In loving memory of our father, John Molley (April 1, 1928 - April 20, 2024).

John was the bedrock foundation that our family was built on. He was the ninth and last child born to George and Mary Molley in Cambridge, Ohio. Shortly after graduating high school, he joined the United States military, first the Army and then the Air Force, to start his 26.5-year career supporting our countries' national defense and ensuring a firm financial basis to provide for his family. He finally retired from active duty in 1972, attaining the rank of Senior Master Sergeant.

He married at the age of 30 on Saturday, April 26, 1958, to Marcella Theresa Derenge. Within four years, they were the proud parents of three children - John Francis, Perry, and Pam. After his military service, John continued to work in civilian life to support his wife and three children. He enjoyed golf, gardening, and travelling. One of his greatest strengths was financial planning to help ensure his family would always be well provided for and his children would be able to position themselves for a better life. His financial, emotional, and moral support helped his three children succeed in their educational endeavors, including all three-graduating college.

He was always the model Catholic father and husband, ...tirelessly, faithfully, and patiently fulfilling his role to support, nurture and cultivate a God-fearing, Catholic family. He displayed a praise-worthy love and dedication to his wife in over fifty years of marriage, caring for her in the last 20 years of her life while she suffered with dementia.

John is survived by his three children, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Public visitation will be held Wednesday, May 8th, 2024, 5:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for John will be Thursday, May 9th, 2024, 9:00 a.m., at Our Lady of The Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd NW. The Graveside Service will be Thursday, May 9th, 2024, 2:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
