John Morana Jr.

John Morana, Jr., 88, retired residential building contractor, died on September 7, 2023 at Cates House in Ocala, FL. He was born in Bronx, New York and was the son to the late John and Anna (DeAngelis) Morana. John and his wife Pat, moved to Dunnellon twenty three years ago from the Bronx. He was a parishioner at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon. John enjoyed fishing, yardwork, and working with his hands fixing and tinkering with different things. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Patricia Morana; his daughter, Joanne Morana; his son, John Joseph Morana (Janet); his grandchildren, Anthony Morana, Amanda Herman (Jason); his great grandchildren, Isabell Herman and Logan Herman.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Dunnellon.
