Mr. John F. Moresco

Pawtucket – John F. Moresco, 83, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy L. (Christie) Moresco. Born in Attleboro, he was a son of the late John and Fran Moresco.
John was a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era and went onto a career as a toolmaker. He was a longtime member of both the Pawtucket and Seekonk YMCA, where he enjoyed swimming. John was also a troop leader for his sons Boy Scouts of America Troop 15 at J.C. Potter School in Pawtucket. He was an avid fan of the Boston and Pawtucket Red Sox, Boston Celtics and a coach for the Darlington American Little League in Pawtucket.
John leaves two sons, John Moresco and his wife, Deanna of Merrimac, MA, and Scott Moresco of Coventry; one granddaughter, Tatiana Gee and her husband, Jordan, of Seymour, TX; a sister, Sandy McGowan and her husband, Cliff, of Rumford, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Rena Moresco
VISITATION will be held on Tuesday, February 18th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. SERVICES will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.
