Earlier today

Johnnie and I were next door neighbors for a while and he was in the grade above me in school. I didn´t really get to know him until after high school where we had a mutual friend and hung out. Throughout the years we would message each other and chat about life and our struggles. He had already been through so much so we would give me so much advice about the similar situations I was going through. We bonded over mental health, battling addiction, the worry of a dear friend, and much more. He would share his short stories with me, and he had such a way with words. I will miss our few times a year deep, usually late night, conversations. He will always be the cute boy next door who i used to daydream about in class who loved poetry and had such a big heart. Rest easy my friend.
