John William Murdock

John William Murdock, age 95, of Fayetteville, AR, died Wednesday, September 10, 2025. He was born November 19, 1929, in Sterling, Colorado. His parents, Hermon Murdock, a pharmacist and Io Kemble Hinsley preceded him in death. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean Conflict. He worked for Western Airmaps as an ariel photographer and darkroom supervisor in Kansas City, Missouri for 37 years, before retiring to Fayetteville, AR. Survivors are his wife, Daryl L. Jorgensen Murdock; a son, Zachary Jay Murdock and spouse Erin Elaine Warren; grandchildren, April Melody Murdock, Ember Victor Murdock; and step grandson, Zachary Downum. A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date in October of 2025.
