John Henry Naegele

John Henry Naegele, 67 of Union Mills, Indiana passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025. He was born January 4, 1958 in LaPorte, Indiana the son of Billy and Alberta (Schultz) Naegele. John was a US Navy Seabee and was a member of Sacred Heart Parish in Wanatah. John retired from McCormick & Co. Inc. in South Bend, Indiana. On November 26, 2004 he married Darlene Sample-Ritter, who survives in Union Mills. Also surviving are his sons John (Sarah) Naegele of Salade, TX and Billy (Colleen) Naegele of TN, daughters, Nicole Naegele of Demotte, IN, Jodie Ritter of Union Mills, IN, Kylee (James) Bowen of Union Mills and Ashly (Larry) Remkus of Union Mills, 20 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, his brother Ed Naegele of New York and his sister Deb (Doug) Wilhelm. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, his parents, 2 sisters and a brother. A Celebration of Life Lunch will be held Monday, March 17, 2025 at 12 noon to 3 PM at the Union Mills Conservation Club in Union Mills, Indiana. In lieu of flowers make donations to wife and family.
