John R Narucki

John R Narucki 91 of Lakewood died Wednesday January 17, 2024, at Willow Springs Rehabilitation, Brick. Born in Jersey City he resided Lakewood since 1957. He served in the Korean War from 1952-1954. While there he helped supply electricity to the orphanage. He owned and operated the J&R Texaco Gas Stations in Lakewood & Jackson. When he was younger, he worked in heavy construction and help build the Turnpike & Pulaski Skyway. John obtained the property, designed the building, and actually built the building and membership of the Central Jersey Rifle & Pistol Club in Jackson. He was a lifetime member of the NRA. He made duck decoys that Ducks Unlimited have in their collections and at one time wrote an article on him about his decoys. He is predeceased by his brother Ronald Narucki. Surviving is his sister Helene A Narucki, nephews, John L & Ronald J Narucki and a niece, Lori June Narucki. Visitation is Tuesday 10-12 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 125 S. Cooks Bridge Rd Jackson. Service and interment are Tuesday 1:30 PM at Brigadier Gen Wm C Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue P.O.
